Refund  Policy

Effective Date: March 10th, 2026
At Theology Of the Soul LLC, we want you to love your purchase. If something isn’t quite right, we’re here to help make it right. This Refund Policy explains our process for refunds, returns, and exchanges. It applies to all purchases made through www.theologyofthesoul.org. Please read this policy carefully before placing an order. By making a purchase, you agree to these terms.

1. Eligibility for Refunds and Returns:

  • You may request a refund or return within 30 days from the date your order ships (or, for digital products or virtual services, from the date of purchase/delivery).
  • Items must be in original, unused, resalable condition (with tags attached for physical goods) and include proof of purchase (order confirmation email or receipt).
  • We process refunds for eligible items back to your original payment method via Stripe. Refunds typically appear on your statement within 5 to 10 business days, depending on your bank or card issuer (Stripe may take up to 5–7 business days to initiate the refund).

2. Physical Products

  • Eligible for Return/Refund:
  • Most physical items may qualify for a full refund (minus shipping cost) or exchange if returned within the time-frame above.
  • Return Process:
        1. Contact us at customersupport@theologyofthesoul.org within the return window with your order number and reason for return.
        2. We will provide instructions and, where applicable, a prepaid return shipping label (at our discretion).
        3. Ship the item(s) back using the provided label or your preferred carrier (keep tracking information).
       4. Once we receive and inspect the return (usually within 3–7 business days), we will issue your refund or process your  exchange.

  • Non-Refundable Costs: Return shipping is deducted from refund. Original shipping fees are refunded only if the entire order is returned due to our error (e.g., wrong item shipped).
  • Damaged or Defective Items: If an item arrives damaged or defective (unless due to damage occurring during transit), contact us within 7 days of receipt with photos. We will arrange a replacement or full refund (including shipping) at no cost to you. If your order is lost, stolen, or damaged in transit, contact the carrier directly using the provided tracking information to file a claim. We will reasonably assist you (e.g., by providing proof of shipment or invoice), but resolution is ultimately between you and the carrier.

3. Digital Products, Downloads, and Services

Due to the instant and non-transferable nature of digital goods (e.g., ebooks, software, online courses, printable files, digital downloads, memberships, or virtual services):
  • All sales of digital products are final and non-refundable, except in cases of:
    • Technical issues preventing access (e.g., file corruption or delivery failure) — we will work to resolve or provide a replacement.
    • Material non-conformance with the advertised description.
  • No refunds will be issued for change of mind, buyer’s remorse, or after download/access has occurred.
  • If you experience an issue, contact us promptly at customersupport@theologyofthesoul.org with your order details so we can assist.

4. Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items

The following are not eligible for return, refund, or exchange (unless defective or damaged upon arrival):
  • Final sale / clearance items
  • Personalized, custom-made, or made-to-order products
  • Gift cards or store credit
  • Items marked "non-returnable" at purchase

5. Partial Refunds

We may issue partial refunds at our discretion (e.g., for minor issues, missing accessories, or to resolve disputes without full return). Partial refunds are processed to your original payment method via Stripe.

6. Refunds via Stripe

All refunds are issued through Stripe, our payment processor. We do not charge extra fees for refunds, but original transaction fees (e.g., Stripe’s processing fees) are non-refundable and not returned to you. Refunds cannot exceed the original purchase amount.

7. Exchanges

If you prefer an exchange over a refund, contact us at customersupport@theologyofthesoul.org — we’ll do our best to accommodate (subject to stock availability). Exchanges follow the same return process as refunds.

8. Cancellations

  • Orders can be canceled before shipment — contact us immediately at customersupport@theologyofthesoul.org. If the order has already shipped, it falls under our return policy.
  • For pre-order or backordered items, cancellations may be accepted until fulfillment begins.

9. Force Majeure and Disputes

We are not responsible for delays or issues beyond our control. Disputes regarding refunds will be handled in good faith. This policy is governed by the laws of North Carolina (as stated in our Terms of Service).

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Refund Policy occasionally. The version posted here is current. Continued use of our site after changes constitutes acceptance.
